Position Overview

As a System Reliability and Support Specialist within PNC’s Technology organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Job Description
  • Monitor, maintain and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
  • Performs maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades.
  • Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Participation in root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention.
  • Ability to assess initial severity, gather impacts, engage necessary support teams, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely restoration
  • Monitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends.
  • Develops in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications.
  • Performs application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.
  •  As part of the L2 support team, participate in off hrs on call support on a rotational basis for production systems.
  • Experience with on call support for triaging problems, coordinating with various support teams across the organization and carryout activities related to incident and problem management.
  • Apply automation and scripting to assist in proactive incident detection and management (self healing).

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $45,000.00 – $117,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education.
