Sustainability- Senior Communications Manager

As our company grows and the stakeholder’s we serve continue to demand more sustainable solutions and services, we need to communicate our work better and how it fits with the external context of responsible production and sourcing, social and environmental issues, sustainability initiatives and policy commitments.

We are looking for an exceptional communicator with in-depth knowledge of the sustainability environment and a desire to help develop Solenis’ narrative in this area and ensure the brand is positioned as a sustainability leader in the specialty chemicals arena. This person will be responsible for Sustainability communications, report writing, and content generation.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of the sustainability environment, a technical background in chemical markets or similar with a track record in writing and reporting. Alternatively, you may have a background as a technical journalist or researcher with specialization in sustainability around specialty chemicals, human rights, climate change, development or other relevant field.

The position will be part of the Sustainability network within Solenis, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications.

What you’ll do

Partner with the Solenis sustainability team to develop and implement communication strategies that effectively convey Solenis’ sustainability initiatives and progress to internal and external stakeholders. Responsible to create compelling messaging, manage sustainability-focused campaigns, and engage with various audiences to drive awareness, understanding, and support for Solenis’ sustainability goals and achievements.
