ICF seeks an experienced professional to serve as a Sustainability Manager, Aviation. This position is 100% Remote in the United States.

About the Role

As a Sustainability Manager in our Aviation, Travel and Tourism consulting division, you'll play a key role in helping our clients navigate the complex landscape of aviation sustainability, environmentally. You'll be responsible for:

• Developing and evaluating sustainability policies and strategies for aviation industry clients.
• Conducting due diligence on investments in sustainable aviation technologies and initiatives.
• Leading the implementation of sustainability projects for airlines, airports, and other aviation stakeholders.
• Managing client relationships and day-to-day project activities.
• Collaborating across teams to develop innovative solutions to aviation sustainability challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Aviation Management, Engineering, Economics, or related a field.
• 8+ years of experience (post university) in a professional business setting.
• 3+ years of experience in the relevant decarbonization pathways, including sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), efficient aircraft technologies, and carbon markets (CORSIA, ETS).
• Ability and willingness to travel for work as necessary.

Professional Skills: (You will bring these with you)
• Strong understanding of the aviation industry dynamics, regulations, and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with carbon accounting and reporting in the aviation sector.
• Familiarity with green finance and sustainable investment principles.
