About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Analyst Intern to support our efforts in mapping the Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) requirements over the span of 4 to 8 weeks. This role will involve research, data analysis, and collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive sustainability reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough research on Higg FEM and ESRS reporting standards.

    • Analyze the alignment between Higg FEM indicators and ESRS requirements.

    • Identify gaps and overlaps in reporting requirements.

  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Assist in preparing detailed reports and presentations on the mapping of Higg FEM to ESRS.

    • Document processes, methodologies, and findings for internal reference.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with the Sustainability Manager and other team members to gather necessary information.

    • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders

    • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on sustainability initiatives.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainability reporting.

    • Suggest improvements to existing processes and tools for better data management and reporting.

We'd Like to See

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.

  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (Higg FEM, ESRS) is a plus.
