As the Supply Planning Manager, you will manage a team of Planners, Schedulers, and Analysts in developing comprehensive supply plans informed by demand forecasts. Your role involves creating master schedules for our production facilities, ensuring that we deliver the right products in the right place at the right time to meet customer demand. Given the highly seasonal nature of demand, it's essential to account for production and storage capacities while aligning with our inventory planning objectives and ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers.

You will collaborate with Commercial Teams, Logistics, Procurement, key suppliers, tollers, warehouses, and plants to optimize the value chain and minimize costs while delivering high service levels for all products and customers. Your role involves overseeing team output to address issues in capacity planning, interpreting demand forecasts at the product and customer levels, establishing stocking and MRP strategies, conducting metric analysis, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Annual planning, budgeting, and scenario evaluation will also be key components of your workload.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Establish annual supply and inventory plans that align with corporate goals.
  • Ensure regional inventory strategies (e.g., glidepaths, ABCD management) are integrated into the overall supply plan with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team on product launches, rebranding, and customer application changes, working closely with Plants and Logistics for timely supply.
  • Partner with Pool Solutions Global Trade to meet regional supply needs for Europe, MEA, and others.
  • Provide input for the global S&OP meeting, highlighting COGS impacts and proposing solutions for Demand/Supply issues while communicating key risks to senior leadership.
  • Support Planners in creating stocking strategies for bulk materials and FG inventory to meet Solenis Supply Chain targets.
  • Drive MRP activities, ensuring data integrity and collaborating with relevant teams to adjust MRP settings as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions for Supply Chain performance variances.
  • Analyze the value chain for optimization opportunities, including logistics and distribution network adjustments.
  • Communicate the financial impact of Planning outcomes on Cost of Goods, Plant CPU, and material spending.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS college degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team, preferably in remote organizations and supply chain functions.
  • 10 years of related planning and scheduling functional experience.
  • Experience of working with SAP is an absolute.
  • Chemical or consumer chemical experience would be desirable for this role.
  • Knowledge of, and track record of using, problem solving and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with FIFRA, TSCA regulated materials and products a plus; prior experience in managing hazardous goods and materials preferred.
  • Great organizations skills, with the ability to coordinate activities that could involve multiple Solenis stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
  • Strong excel experience is required (vlookup, pivot table, formulas etc)
  • Experience in MRP systems, inventory management a plus. APICS certification would be beneficial.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,300.00 and $143,220.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law. Apply
