Supply Chain Project Manager
What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will translate product strategy as determined by the Regional Operations Lead to an executable implementation plan for launches and variations. The SCPM may also translate Variation Management strategy as determined by the Variation Lead for reportable changes for Global Distribution control. The SCPM will apply project management and operational excellence to support the effective planning, timely execution and implementation of launches and variations and other activities in the product life cycle management of Amgen products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage change control timelines with input from Regional Operations Leads and/or Variation Leads driving task completion across multiple functional areas
- Assure timely and fully compliant (RFT) maintenance of Change Control Management system related to Customer Facing Sku Change Records (CFSCR) and/or Global Distribution Change Records (GDCR)
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on status of CFSCR and/or GDCR readiness activities and related projects
- Implement specific projects and cases as required
- Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information
- Create new procedures and processes to drive desired results
- Identify and analyze complex problems and opportunities to streamline departmental activities and lead projects to drive improvements
- Partner with all relevant collaborators to share and implement standard methodologies
- Establish effective relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas, both on site and virtually
- Proactively navigate an ambitious and dynamic environment, with constantly evolving priorities
- Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
Or
Master’s degree and 2 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 8 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in GMP environment
- Global biotechnology, pharmaceutical or healthcare experience
- Experience with Change Control Management System
- Experience with ERP system
- Experience with Lifecycle Management activities and execution
- Supply Chain or Operations background
- Excellent organizational and communication skill
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and records, re-prioritizing as required
- Anticipates and prevents potential problems
- Operational Excellence skills and/or experience/skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, team player and self-starter; serious commitment to quality and excellence

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
