LMI is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Consultant / Master Facilitator to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. The successful candidate will focus on supporting the transition of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) to the services and all related Supply chain logistics related to program success. The candidate will also be a highly skilled professional who excels at guiding group discussions and processes, possessing advanced expertise in designing engaging activities, managing complex dynamics, and achieving desired outcomes in diverse situations, often with a focus on conflict resolution, consensus building, and active listening, while maintaining a neutral stance to facilitate productive collaboration among participants across various settings.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Client Engagement & Analysis: Support and collaborate with government organizations, including the Department of Defense (DoD), in analyzing and optimizing supply chains for inventory management, maintenance, and distribution.
- Consulting Services: Provide expertise in DoD logistics strategy and supply chain material management, emphasizing wholesale and retail-level inventory management, policy adherence, performance measurement, and analysis.
- Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to projects that evaluate and improve existing system-support supply chains at various levels, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness in inventory management, distribution, and provisioning.
- Policy & Compliance Support: Assist DoD organizations in addressing audit findings and material weaknesses, ensuring compliance with standards for Inventory, Operating Materials & Supplies, and requisitioning processes.
- Innovative Solutions: Research and propose new approaches and alternatives to improve business practices and enhance decision-making processes within supply chain management.
- Documentation & Policy Maintenance: Provide both administrative and technical writing support for updating and maintaining supply chain policies, incorporating updates as needed based on GAO and IG audit recommendations.
- Program Management & Reporting: Perform data analysis, develop high-impact presentations, and provide research-based support for DoD leadership, aiding in the execution of logistics strategy and supply chain initiatives.
- Strategic Design: Creating comprehensive facilitation plans for complex workshops, meetings, or training sessions, tailoring them to specific group needs and objectives.
- Advanced Group Dynamics Management: Recognizing and addressing power imbalances, managing disruptive behavior, and navigating challenging group dynamics with sensitivity and expertise.
- Conflict Resolution Facilitation: Actively mediating disagreements, identifying underlying issues, and guiding participants towards collaborative solutions.
- Consensus Building: Facilitating processes to reach agreement or shared understanding among diverse stakeholders, even when opinions differ significantly.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Providing guidance and feedback to other facilitators, helping them develop their skills and practice best facilitation techniques.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or similar discipline
- 15+ plus years’ experience in DoD logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent facilitation skills in both virtual and in-person environments.
- Significant expertise in communications principles, methods, practices, and techniques, including skill in presenting ideas in speech and in written form to inform and persuade audiences at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of commercially based advanced modeling, networking, scheduling and inventory optimization systems and techniques in order to support development of supply, inventory management, and distribution policy to improve materiel management of spare part inventories.
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry
- Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
- Availability for occasional travel.
- This position requires an active security clearance. You must be a US citizen.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Master’s degree (Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred)
- Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience
- Knowledgable in Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 enterprise sustainment strategy
- Prior JSF Joint Program Office experiece
Targeted Salary Range: $114,000 - $150,000
