Supply Chain Analyst

The Opportunity:
The Medical Materiel Enterprise Standardization Office (MMESO) Program within Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Logistics (MEDLOG) is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst with experience in DoD medical supply chain operations, who is interested in a highly collaborative, dynamic and intellectually challenging and stimulating work environment. The mission of the MMESO Program is to standardize clinically vetted materiel for use across the Military Health System (MHS) in order to improve clinical outcomes, enhance readiness and training, control costs, and improve interoperability.
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a critical role on the Implementation and Communication Team by applying your expertise to analyze and facilitate execution of DoD medical materiel standardization actions and pricing optimization initiatives. You will apply knowledge of medical supply chain for institutional and operational/deployable environments to collect data, analyze logistics requirements and transaction flows, and identify opportunities to achieve greater commonality and cost efficiencies for the MHS.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with pricing agreement vendors, MTFs, DLA Troop Support, and Prime Vendors to implement MMESO Incentive Agreements (IAs), Voluntary Incentive Pricing Agreements (VIPAs) and other pricing agreements IAW program procedures
Assist MHS customers with the implementation of standardized products. Analyze standardization and compliance data to identify opportunities to transition procurement to standardized items and maximize cost benefits.
Maintain, track, and report on the status and performance of active pricing agreements. In coordination with the COR and DLA Troop Support, execute maintenance actions to ensure continuity of incentivized pricing for the MHS.
Serve as a liaison to vendors to facilitate efficient implementation of pricing agreements
Develop and distribute marketing materials for standardized products and product lines
Coordinate and submit the required documentation for MMESO pricing agreements
Monitor data and systems to verify that standardized items are loaded in the Medical Master Catalog and available in DML ordering systems
Review, identify, and recommend improvements to current standardization processes in order to improve sourcing decisions, change planning, purchasing behaviors, and/or obtain the best medical products at the best prices
Provide education and training to MMESO stakeholders
Assume additional responsibilities as required by the Program Manager and Project Manager
Qualifications
Required:
US Citizenship
Able to pass a favorable National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC)
A Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, management or related field is required
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in medical logistics and supply cataloguing systems including Medical Product Data Bank (MedPDB), Joint Medical Asset Repository (JMAR), Defense Medical Logistics Standards System (DMLSS), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Defense Medical Logistics Item Identification System (DMLIIS) and Medical Master Catalog (MMC)
Experience in data collection analysis, and documentation preparation
Strong understanding of the DoD MHS enterprise to include the operational environment and National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and experience in medical materiel standardization, supply chain management, implementation of healthcare standardization initiatives, and business re-engineering of medical healthcare systems
Able to effectively communicate in different modes (oral/written) to a diverse audience at different levels including clinicians, logisticians, program managers, working groups, and senior management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated experience interfacing with customers at all levels an organization including executive leadership to understand program objectives, analyze technical gaps, and propose innovations to advance the customers mission execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Teams)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
