What you will do:

• Assess supplier performance & capabilities. 
• Engage the supplier at their facility to develop a comprehensive gap closure plan. 
• Follow-up with the PW and supplier team to validate the gap plan and monitor progress to ensure the benefits are being achieved 
• Lead impactful Continuous Improvement events at Supplier to close performance gaps. 
• Conduct weekly training and coaching on-site at the supplier. 
• Establish leading indicators of performance and track weekly. 
• Intervene to expedite deliveries and/or resolve quality issues
• The selected candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on-site at their assigned suppliers within the Connecticut area

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related field and 8 years of experience in operations, quality or continuous improvement roles; or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified CORE Expert or equivalent
• Six-Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt
• RTX SHA certified assessor
• ITC / BAER experience

This role is:

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
