What you will do:
- Assess supplier performance & capabilities.
- Engage the supplier at their facility to develop a comprehensive gap closure plan.
- Follow-up with the PW and supplier team to validate the gap plan and monitor progress to ensure the benefits are being achieved
- Lead impactful Continuous Improvement events at Supplier to close performance gaps.
- Conduct weekly training and coaching on-site at the supplier.
- Establish leading indicators of performance and track weekly.
- Intervene to expedite deliveries and/or resolve quality issues
- The selected candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on-site at their assigned suppliers within the Connecticut area
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related field and 8 years of experience in operations, quality or continuous improvement roles; or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred qualifications:
- Certified CORE Expert or equivalent
- Six-Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt
- RTX SHA certified assessor
- ITC / BAER experience

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
