Job Description

About the Role:

As a Posting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the payment posting process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining efficient workflows. You will lead a team of reimbursement specialists and collaborate closely with internal departments to optimize reimbursement practices. Your expertise in Billing Software (Telcor) and payment posting will be pivotal in streamlining operations and contributing to the company's success in delivering timely and accurate reimbursements.

You will facilitate optimized billing processes and operations that are aligned with Guardant Health’s mission and values. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are required to manage unbalanced remittance advice directly with payers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the payment posting within the Reimbursement - Screening department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments to the appropriate records.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payment posting.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve any cash-flow discrepancies.
  • Train and supervise payment posting staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze payment posting metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to payment posting.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on payment posting activities to senior management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of reimbursement strategies and initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or work experience equivalent.
  • Proven experience in payment posting in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Telcor software and its applications.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement and billing processes particularly EOM Reconcilition reporting Lockbox transactions, Clearinghouse transactions, EDI enrollment, Merchant solutions, Insurance Payer portals and Sarbanes Oxley controls (SOX) are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be proficient using a computer, data entry, and have above average typing skills

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,500 to $120,800. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations for the posted role with the exception of any locations specifically referenced below (if any).

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
