Position Summary

The Team Lead, Marketing Project Management is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various marketing projects within a team. They provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Team Lead also collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives. They are responsible for managing resources, setting project objectives, and monitoring progress to ensure the successful delivery of marketing projects. Additionally, the Team Lead may also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential for this role.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage a team of marketing project managers to ensure successful marketing project delivery.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of marketing projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize Workfront to manage project workflows, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to drive project success.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
  • Provide technical project management expertise, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The team lead will be expected to own the majority of technical projects, with the team supporting content development, vendor project management, etc.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Analyze project performance and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing Operations with efforts to design and improve processes. Provide strategic advice and assistance rolling out changes proactively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, required in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years' experience in marketing project management.
  • Minimum two years supervisory or leadership experience.
  • PMP or equivalent Preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well independently or within a team.
  • Must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Accurate data entry.
  • Proven experience in the mortgage or banking industry.
    • Experience using Workfront and Jira for project management.
    • Strong technical project management skills, with proficiency in Workfront or similar project
    management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance priorities.
  • Strong ability to work remotely and with limited supervision. This includes day-to-day on-camera presence during typical work hours.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.

Supervision

  • Interaction/Supervision: Manages staff; may include multiple job categories and both exempt and nonexempt jobs; responsible for some staffing, hiring, termination, and discipline; sets performance standards, coaches and evaluates staff, making pay decisions and organizing and scheduling workloads and workflow

Requirements

  • Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; occasionally walks and/or stands.
  • Manual Dexterity:  Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

  • Audio/Visual:  Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media. Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  • Environmental:  Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Travel: 5% or less
  • Mental: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow. Must be able to adhere to process protocol. Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner. Ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota. This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities and competing priorities.
  • Work is primarily performed during the business week, Monday - Friday; occasional night or weekend may be necessary.

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $118,000 annually

Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
