Summer Internship: Global Medical Affairs Investigator-Initiated Trial Program Intern

Education Required:

Graduate school student in any area of science who is currently enrolled in a graduate level program (PhD, PharmD, Masters or other)

General Description:

Create the structure and design for a monthly or quarterly report or newsletter covering GMA Evidence Generation activities, including IIT, RWE, PhIV, EAP).  This would include type of information to include, how this information will be integrated, obtaining stakeholder input prior to finalizing As a sub-project, this information the intern will work to create an internal website on the GMA BEEP page with a summary of this information and access to already created reports

Essential Functions of the job:

• Develop and implement a structured monthly/quarterly report to highlight key activities and achievements of the GMA Evidence Generation team. Responsibilities include designing the report framework, aligning content with stakeholders, and delivering the inaugural newsletter.

• Analyze and integrate available GMA data to extract key insights, ensuring meaningful and relevant content. Engage with key stakeholders to determine valuable information for inclusion.

• Manage and maintain a designated repository within the GMA BEEP website for housing reports. Oversee the implementation of an automated update feature to highlight key successes or summaries on the cover page.

• Support the documentation and processing of Expanded Access Program (EAP) requests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain organized and up-to-date records.

Computer Skills:   Microsoft office, including excel and powerpoint; experience with Sharepoint and Veeva preferred

Other Qualifications:   Detail-oriented, quick learner, who can function under pressure.  Great written & verbal communication skills, able to network and engage stakeholders amongst multiple functions, and strong analytical skills.

Pay Range:

$38.50/hour (Masters)

$40.50/hour (Ph.D./Pharm D)
