Note: To be considered for our 2025 Summer Internship program you must be enrolled in a university degree program and cannot be graduating sooner than December 2025.
Education Required: Currently enrolled students and have complete at least two semesters of graduate work towards a M.S. PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics by May 2022. Ph.D. candidate preferred.
General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):
- The biostatistics intern will participate in statistics methodology research to support drug development under the guidance and mentorship of biostatisticians in Global Statistics & Data Science Group in BeiGene.
Essential Functions of the Internship:
The intern will conduct:
- Literature review
- Development of innovative statistical methods if necessary
- Creating SAS macro/ R packages/R shiny for statistical analyses if applicable
- Computer simulations
Computer Skills: R and (or) SAS
Other Qualifications:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Bayesian statistics knowledge or course work preferred.
- R package and/or R shiny development experience preferred.
Travel: < 10%
Pay Range:
$40.50/hr (PhD)
