The North America Private Sector Technical Consulting team is responsible for delivering SAS solutions to our customers across a wide range of industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Media. 

During your internship you will gather information from business and technical partners within SAS to enhance our business processes to initiate projects.  

As an intern, you will be responsible for:  

• interviewing key stakeholders across teams  

• documenting current workflows, use process mapping tools to create visual workflow diagrams, and identify pain points, redundancies, and areas where delays occur 

• reviewing existing processes, suggest improvements to streamline operations, and develop updates to improve clarity and consistency across geographies 

• analyzing how data is collected, stored, and shared  

• creating recommendations and deliver an executive presentation to leadership with suggested next steps 

Required Qualifications  

• Students pursuing an undergraduate degree in nforImation Systems, Business Management, Business Process Management, Operations Research, or Business Administration 

• You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025.  

• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.  

• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.  

• Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.  

• You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.  

Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience with Visio or Lucid Charts 

Location  

• This position has the option to be fully remote or hybrid from the Cary HQ Office. The team works hybrid from Cary HQ.

Internship dates: May 20 – August 8, 2025. We can be flexible on start date if your university is on a quarter system.  Internships last 12 weeks in total length.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant’s year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 – $31 for associate’s/bachelor’s level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master’s/Ph. D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.
