The Global Pricing team is responsible for performing pricing and market analysis as well as coordinating the implementation of pricing for SAS’s products and solutions to optimize profits and support meeting sales, marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. 

  

As an intern, you might:  

  • Prepare pricing and revenue impact reports 
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Release Management and other departments to develop compliant pricing and packaging strategies 
  • Consolidate information from multiple sources into recommendations, reports, presentations and communication messages regarding pricing strategies 
  • Develops and maintains pricing models and pricing performance metrics for SAS’s products and solutions 
  • Research, analyze, and track competitor pricing and market trends 
  • Interact with our CPQ (Configure Price Quote) or Oracle Lead to Cash Systems to validate pricing, test use cases, and/or ensure our quoting is enabling the successful execution of the SAS pricing strategy 

  

Required Qualifications  

  • Pursuring a Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Targeted majors: Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Analysis, Economics, or any Quantitative Discipline 
  • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025 
  • You have experience using some of the following types of programs:  MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or HTML 
  • Ability to communicate effectively either verbally, in writing, or via data visualization 
  • Strong organizational skills for managing commitments, schedules, and deadlines 
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. 
  • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.  
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology 

  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Working knowledge in the use of data analysis tools, the application of research methodology, and data collection methods 
  • Data analysis skills – could be using SPSS, SAS, or Excel as a few examples 
  • Understanding of the enterprise software industry 

 

Location  

This internship will be a hybrid position based in Cary, NC, with the option to be fully remote.

The management for this team is remote.

  

Internship dates:

May 20 – August 8, 2025. We can be flexible on start date if your university is on a quarter system.  Internships last 12 weeks in total length.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant’s year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 – $31 for associate’s/bachelor’s level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master’s/Ph.D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.
