The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction and removal drawings/designs. 

 

What You'll Do

Successful candidates will complete demolition, design and construction drafting work, related to substation plan and section views, construction details, electrical one-lines and schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and communications diagrams.  Successful candidates will complete basic design tasks in addition to their drafting workload. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.

 

What We Expect from You

  • Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
  • Knowledge of MicroStation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical substation drawings, such as one-lines, general arrangements, schematics, and wiring is preferred.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in US.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $73,500*
