Subscription Marketing Coordinator

The Subscription Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting programs and initiatives aimed at retaining and engaging our digital and print subscriber base. This role will focus on coordinating and delivering targeted campaigns designed to reduce churn, increase subscriber loyalty, and strengthen customer relationships.
The coordinator will work closely with the customer care, lifecycle marketing, acquisition, and marketing teams to ensure the seamless execution of retention-focused initiatives. In addition to retention, the role will support efforts to drive print acquisition through multi-channel campaigns to grow our overall print subscriber base.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to align messaging and campaign execution while leveraging the use of AI to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is between $26.44 and $31.25 per hour. Individual base pay may vary within that range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, department equity, training, geography and local wage and hours laws.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and execute email and direct mail campaigns for subscription acquisition and retention.
- Execute and provide support on retention and lifecycle initiatives, including loyalty, stop save and new partnerships for value-added offerings.
- Devise and execute A/B tests, create and manage testing/optimization roadmaps, record results, and advise on improvements.
- Provide program support for subscription marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Proofread and edit emails and direct mail content to ensure accuracy and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Test landing pages to ensure functionality and optimize user experience.
- Submit marketing requests and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive subscription growth.
- Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize AI tools to analyze marketing data, optimize campaign performance, and personalize customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, including AI-driven marketing innovations, to enhance marketing effectiveness.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms used in marketing to enhance data analysis and campaign optimization.
- Proficiency with Google applications and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years experience in subscription retention, marketing or a related field.
