About the office/school

Majarlin contributes to the development of a capable and culturally responsive Kimberley health workforce through inspiration, education, innovation, and research. To achieve this, Majarlin facilitates the delivery of high-quality Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health clinical education and professional support.
 
About the role

You will manage all placements across our Allied Health programs, ensuring successful experiences and strong relationships with host clinical partners. This role involves efficient administration, proactive support for placement needs, and fostering partnerships with external and partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to submissions, statistical summaries, data sets and report compilation and other material related to placements and student outcomes as required.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes for smooth delivery of placement activities such as student orientations, professional development, workshops, and networking events.
  • Maintain effective liaison with clinical partner organisations, tracking and recording financial transactions related to placements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with student placements by proactively addressing challenges and ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage clinical placements for AH students.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of AH placement planning.

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience in administration, clinical placements, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills, with the ability to independently navigate shifting priorities, resolve complex issues, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • High level communication skills both written and verbal.
