The Computer Systems Laboratory has very flexible scheduling. Hours may be set by a manager, but in general hours are self-scheduled week to week. Candidates with about 10+ hours of availability will be prioritized.Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

1Qualifications:
Must qualify for Student Hourly employment.Ability to work at least 10 hours a week between 8am and 6pm.
Experience working in customer service either in a commercial or help desk capacity.
Ability to organize large tasks, make decisions, and work independently or with others as appropriate to the task at hand.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, co-workers, and vendors both person-to-person and by email.
Familiarity with computer technology and components.
Strong basic computer skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Candidates with previous direct customer service experience will be given highest priority.
Ability to track orders, shipments, and other purchasing related data.
Comparison shopping among from online vendors.
Familiarity with authoring technical documentation and/or organizing reference materials.
Some programming experience or skills are desirable, but not required.
2 or more years remaining as a student.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
As a Student Logistics Assistant you will be involved in organizing and tracking the logistics of various activities to help our full time and student IT staff members, provide computing resources. and support for about 6,000 students, faculty, and staff.
Physical Demands:
CSL will be moving to a new building in 2025, and this position will be working on a project to streamline logistics processes, training, and documentation for future peers.
