Structured Products Attorney

US - US - Remote

We are currently seeking a Structured Products Attorney for a leading financial institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide deal support on structured finance and/or securitization transactions, including structuring and negotiating deal documentation for derivatives, asset-backed securities, collateral loan obligations, repurchase agreements, direct lending, private credit, credit insurance, and syndicated loans.
  • Coordinate with internal business team leaders to provide timely and sound counsel on legal, risk, and regulatory matters.
  • Maintain deal documentation for focus areas and manage external counsel for effective execution of high-volume deal flow.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in securitizations, structured products, direct lending, private credit, credit insurance, or syndicated loans from a law firm perspective or large financial institution perspective.
  • Hands-on experience structuring and negotiating a suite of documents associated with ABS, CLOs, derivatives, RMBS, CMBS, direct lending, private credit, credit insurance, or syndicated loans.
  • Experience partnering with internal business team leaders to ensure compliance while maintaining a high volume of deal flow.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation beginning at $165,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
