Thales is hiring an experience Strategy Data Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing past performance and market trends within the cybersecurity sector. Your insights will be critical in identifying opportunities for improvement and modeling growth projections over the next four years. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and an understanding of financial principles in a rapidly evolving market.
This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check. Key Areas of Responsibility
Analyze historical financial performance and market trends within the cybersecurity sector to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop comprehensive financial models to project growth over the next four years, integrating market dynamics and competitive insights.
Identify and evaluate the potential sources of growth of the over the next four years, integrating existing portfolio and new value propositions as provided by the different business segments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, business development, and R&D, to uncover technical and business challenges that can enhance customer value.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market developments to assess the effectiveness of growth strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary.
Evaluate the potential impact of industry trends on the company’s financial performance and product strategy
Assist in assessing the feasibility of potential acquisitions or partnerships that align with long-term growth objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity sector
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python)
Knowledge of tools as source of data for analysis : salesforce, powerBI
Understanding of market dynamics in cybersecurity, including emerging threats and trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and engage with senior leadership
Familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape and competitive analysis
Knowledge of French can be advantageous for communication with headquarters and understanding company culture
The anticipated TTC range for this role is $110,70.00 - $193,959.00 USD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
