What will you be doing?

The Strategy Analyst role is a critical part of Circana’s Global CPG & Foodservice Commercial Advisory and Thought Leadership team, which serves to guide CPG & foodservice manufacturers, retailers, and operators with true clarity on industry trends and growth strategy.

The Strategy Analyst will be responsible for creating and delivering thought leadership content for a diverse range of U.S. CPG clients. The ideal candidate should possess a high degree of autonomy and strong problem-solving skills. They must have an innovative and analytical mindset, capable of creating inspiring insights to drive client business growth. Superb organizational and interpersonal skills will be essential for delivering impactful industry expertise, engaging effectively with clients, and collaborating cross-functionally.

This analyst will leverage Circana’s wide range of assets, including point-of-sale data, consumer data, and Circana’s suite of analytical solutions, to generate thought-provoking, cutting-edge analysis.

Analytic Capability:

  • Analyze a wide variety of Circana data platforms to identify insights that can add value to client executive content
  • Use a structured method to solve problems, consider the outcomes of different approaches, and evaluate potential solutions before making a decision
  • Achieve high-quality, client-ready results through effective data integrity and organization
  • Handle inquiries from internal and client stakeholders about methodology and data validation

      Thought Leadership:

      • Contribute to idea generation, leveraging creativity and industry knowledge to identify new techniques and processes
      • Design and execute analytical approaches
      • Assist in developing compelling storylines
      • Build clear, executive-level visual output

      Cross-Functional Collaboration:

      • Explore new opportunities to leverage Circana solutions to generate powerful new insights
      • Leverage cross-industry thought leaders, practice area counterparts, and corporate resources to enhance overall insights, creating a complete consumer picture

      Requirements

      • 5+ years experience in marketing, analytics, strategy, or consulting for CPG, food or retail-oriented businesses
      • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
      • Proven skills to confidently “fill in the blanks” when only 70% of the facts are at hand
      • Innovative, non-traditional approach to problem identification and resolution
      • Experience with Circana data or other syndicated data solutions
      • High level of attention to detail and analytical proficiency
      • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus

      The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $65,000.00 to $82,000.00.
