As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist Senior – Corporate Services within PNC's Supply Chain Management organization, you may be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Additional locations may be considered.

This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

We are seeking a talented Strategic Sourcing Senior that will support the PNC Corporate Services sourcing initiatives, including but not limited to the PNC Human Resources and PNC Legal lines of business. You will actively communicate and engage with teams and stakeholders that will contribute to the successful execution of evolving supply chain priorities.

Job Description
  • Researches and negotiates major organizational contracts and procurements.
  • Prepares complex purchasing assignments requiring vendor selection and pricing comparisons.
  • Consults with vendors to obtain optimum pricing and availability information. Researches and negotiates highly complex organizational purchases.
  • Negotiates with vendors to obtain optimum quality, cost, terms, etc.
  • Develops and monitors effectiveness of purchasing strategies and effectiveness; initiates improvements as necessary.
