  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Facebook to strategically develop, implement, and optimize sourcing and vendor management solutions.
  • Manage
    end-to-end sourcing projects, including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects).
  • Own the interface to and lead engagement with suppliers for all RFI, RFP, and
    RFQ activities.
  • Present RFx results and bid leveling, and lead the evaluation process of bid award with evaluation team, and drive the closure of a sourcing decision.
  • Officially, close the
    process with all recognized bidders.
  • Identify key benchmark suppliers in RFx efforts, partner to identify evaluation criterion and provide relevant data and recommendations back to the
    internal Facebook team.
  • Own and provide market and actual unit and total cost data, which feeds into total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Drive continuous supplier improvement in purchase
    price and total cost, including supply chain performance cost.
  • Measure report and action cost improvement as compared to market pricing.
  • Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in
    the US.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management or a related field. 12 months of experience in the job offered or in supply chain management-related field. Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following:
  • 1. Spend analysis
  • 2. Pricing Negotiations with vendors
  • 3. Cost savings and analysis
  • 4. Business and Legal term contract negotiations
  • 5. Market intelligence
  • 6. Stakeholder management
  • 7. Supplier Relationship Management
  • 8. Leading strategic initiatives and budget forecasting
  • 9. Vendor management
  • 10. BI Reporting
  • 11. SQLServer
  • 12. SAP.
