Strategic Program Manager, Acute & Payer

The Strategic Program Manager is responsible for delivering implementation related projects across a hospital or health system, state, region, or market. In this role, you will oversee the work of multiple client services teams and team members. You will not directly manage people, but instead are accountable for the on time, in scope, on budget work that the team is delivering. This role is a senior individual contributor, overseeing a portfolio of strategic initiatives. You hold a leadership role on projects and are responsible for coordinating with other delivery team leaders to manage the distribution of client work amongst team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress.
- Managing and utilizing resources across projects.
- Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” with the aid of the customers change manager.
- Defining the program governance (controls).
- Managing the program’s budget.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years project management experience

- Plan Schedule Management, Define Activities, Sequence Activities, Estimate Activity Resources, Estimate Activity Durations, Develop Schedule, Control Schedule
- Plan Scope Management, Collect Requirements, Define Scope, Create the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Validate Scope, Control Scope
- Actively listens, understands, and responds to stakeholders; Maintains lines of communication; Ensures quality of information; Tailors communication to audience

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years project management experience or 2 years program management experience

- Define governance structure, Manage issue resolution and program change, Authorize program component changes (initiation, transition, closure), Review program performance, Ensure program conformance to organization standards
