The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated Strategic Pricing and Brand Manager to develop and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability, while also leading integrated brand strategy across multiple portfolios. Reporting into the Senior Director, Strategic Marketing, the successful candidate will monitor market competitiveness and pricing trends to develop and adjust strategies to ensure our products remain competitive in a highly dynamic environment. Additionally, the successful candidate in this hybrid position will develop brand strategy that will be translated into successful campaigns that shape the global brand experience, ensuring cohesive messaging across the business. This role is full-time, remote.

What we’re looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance or related  
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in branding, product marketing or product strategy and pricing
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic & international)

How you will thrive and create an impact:

Pricing:

  • Develop and manage pricing strategies to optimize price realization by building and maintaining advanced pricing models and decision-support tools.
  • Monitor market competitiveness and pricing trends, adjusting strategies as needed to stay competitive.
  • Work alongside analytics leadership to implement improvements in analytical techniques and data infrastructure to enhance the quality of pricing decisions.
  • Provide regular pricing performance updates, sharing insights and recommendations for improvement with the team.

Brand:

  • Develop and refine global and regional brand strategies, focusing on positioning, messaging, and value propositions based on brand research derived from customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Translate brand strategy into actionable integrated marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget, in collaboration with cross-functional teams with the goal of boosting brand awareness with target audiences.
  • Maintain a cohesive global brand experience, recommend actions to enhance visibility and credibility, and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.
