Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

As a Strategic Manager of Coaching Services, you will be an important member of the Live Services Leadership Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overall strategy execution and service excellence for our Condition Coaching programs. You will have direct oversight of a team of coach team managers and their frontline teams. Your direct and indirect teams are responsible for completing day-to-day multi-modal coaching sessions, where they will take a behavior change approach to driving health outcomes.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

 

Service oversight and strategy execution

  • Accountable for the delivery and high-quality performance of service for direct and indirect reports using quality assessment tools and data analysis
  • Drive strategies to address and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and other performance metrics
  • Partner with Training & Quality and Operation teams to work towards optimization of performance, processes, product outcomes, and staffing needs
  • Leverage evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines to enhance program quality and effectiveness and to ensure Condition Management and Anxiety & Depression coaching programs meet all clinical compliance requirements.

Team and People Management

  • Support the development and performance of team managers through accountability to service excellence, guidance and coaching, feedback, and metric management
  • Create an environment that elevates morale through trust, collaboration, creative problem solving, growth opportunities, and team building activities
  • Clearly communicate relevant information, updates, and decisions through various communication modalities
  • Accountable for talent planning and team manager hiring and onboarding
  • Represent the needs of your direct and indirect reports to Live Services Senior Leadership, identifying impact to business and/or employee experience
  • Effectively manage flexible time off (FTO) requests, FTE management and workload management for indirect reports

Cross-functional partnerships

  • Collaborate with clinical operations and the Science Advisory Board to align coaching services with best practices and organizational objectives
  • Escalate training needs to Training & Quality, as needed
  • Support of new hire and team trainings, as needed
  • Partner with Operations to implement new modalities or product enhancements, as needed
  • Represent Live Services and Personify Health to internal and external stakeholders, as needed
  • Support strategic direction and decisions for Live Services and Personify Health with confidence, logic, and reason

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health required, master’s degree and licensure highly preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in a clinical setting or support clinical programs
  • 5+ years people management experience, including a minimum of 2 years of managing managers
  • National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) highly preferred
  • Expert knowledge in behavior change and coaching skills required
  • Leadership experience as a primary stakeholder of a coaching service
  • Results-driven leader with proven track record for consistently achieving KPIs
  • Experience with digital health technology required
  • Experienced in management remote employees and teams

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000. Note that compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
