The Stewardship Coordinator is an integral part of the TU Development team, supporting a wide range of events and stewardship efforts that help improve fundraising outcomes. The Coordinator will assist with donor relations and stewardship processes (including donor communications, activities, and events), and help ensure that constituents receive appropriate engagement and recognition.  


This position will coordinate with the Development team to execute outreach and stewardship plans, including but not limited to:  

  • Preparing and executing high-touch prospect acquisition communications  
  • Preparing and executing stewardship communications to new and existing premier-level donors  
  • Assisting MGOs with individualized stewardship plans for high-net-worth donors and recording data in CRM  
  • Resolving constituent concerns in person, over the phone, and via email with appropriate escalation as needed  

Coordinate with the VP of Development, frontline fundraisers, and other team members to support all development events, assuring the overall quality and impact of events as experienced by TU’s stakeholders (donors, prospective donors, volunteer leadership, and their guests). Planning, executing, and follow-up of each event includes but is not limited to:  

  • Preparing accurate constituent invitation lists to achieve segmentation strategies  
  • Executing mailings associated with event invitations  
  • Accurately tracking all event responses and ensure that all event communications are concise, timely, and frequent   
  • Following up with invitees to secure event registrations with concierge-level service  
  • Crafting seating charts according to attendee strategy and coordinating with frontline fundraisers to adjust as necessary to best support fundraising goals  
  • Supporting the creation of event briefings for executive stakeholders   
  • Serving as the primary staff member to attend all events and provide concierge service onsite to all guests, securing additional staff support from colleagues as each event requires   
  • Running registration and securing accurate attendance lists  
  • Managing vendors and hotel contacts, acting as the primary point of contact for BEOs, A/V, outside contractors, event setup and strike, speaker management, and all other event logistics   
  • Developing follow-up content for mass and individual outreach  
  • Sending and tracking of written, photo, and video follow-ups to discrete audience segments  
  • Serving as a reliable and consistent contact for all invitees, guests, and external stakeholders  
  • Synchronizing with the Database Manager to ensure timely payments affiliated with fundraising events are executed  
  • Working collaboratively with state council, chapter, and volunteers as needed to execute events  
  • Demonstrate a commitment to tact, discretion, and confidentiality  
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree is required  
  • Two or more years of professional relevant coordination experience  
  • Outstanding communication skills with external constituents both on the phone and in person are required  
  • Demonstrated success respectfully coordinating with internal and external constituents in high-pressure, in-person situations is required  
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required  
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, generate creative solutions to problems, and demonstrate a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments are required  
  • Attention to matters of discretion and confidentiality is required  
  • Proficiency with Windows environment and standard MS Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, etc. is required  
  • Proficiency with mail merges  
  • CRM experience  
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Adobe Express or other creative software is preferred but not required 

This position works from any location in the continental US, and requires frequent travel to event locations.  Title and compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience level, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geographic differences.  

Salary Description 60,000 - $65,000 annually + full benefit package Apply
