Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Staffing Coordination Intern to join our team in a remote capacity.
This internship offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in various HR functions, including onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations. The successful candidate will develop strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while contributing to key HR initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating with new hires during the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition
- Posting job requisitions and assist with the recruitment and hiring process
- Collaborate with HR managers and team members to develop and implement program hiring initiatives
- Assist with the organization and planning of employee events and training programs
- Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation when interacting with new hires and employees.
Skills
- Strong Communication Skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, including crafting professional emails and engaging in discussions.
- Teamwork and Collaboration. Capacity to work well within a team, build positive relationships, and contribute to collective goals.
- Time Management and Organization. Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and keeping track of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability and Flexibility. Ability to embrace change, learn new skills, and navigate uncertainties in the workplace.
- Professionalism and Work Ethics. Demonstration of punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Human Resources Knowledge. Ability to learn HR processes, such as onboarding, payroll, and personnel management.
- Data Entry and Reporting. Competence in organizing and managing information, as well as generating reports.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
