About this team and role:
The Protection and Identity team is dedicated to creating consumer-facing products that safeguard users' data and privacy within the Mozilla ecosystem. Our goal is to deliver seamless, user-friendly experiences that provide peace of mind and build customer trust. In this role, you will lead the user experience strategy for personal data breach monitoring and data removal services. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver meaningful, impactful solutions that enhance security and privacy for our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with research, strategy, product management, and engineering to design and iterate on products focused on security and privacy products.
- Work with researchers, strategists, product managers, and engineers to empathy and understand user needs and use feedback to design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that meet their needs
- Create design storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate intent and for conducting qualitative and quantitative research
- Balance user needs with business objectives to ensure both sides are represented in design decisions resulting in the best possible outcome for both
- Support product strategy from concept to completion for critical user journeys and finding opportunities
- Set and refine the design quality bar through establishing design principles, patterns, tools and systems
