Serve as the Staff Research Associate/Study Coordinator for the Multiple Sclerosis Research Program. Studies include investigator-initiated studies, NIH funded studies, registries, and industry-sponsored studies. The Staff Research Associate will perform systematic collection of research data, collection and processing of research specimens, and entry/management of data. In addition, you will assist the Principal Investigators in regulatory matters including IRB review. You will also be expected to interact regularly with human subject participants.
Salary Range: $26.52 - $31.63/Hourly

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and using Macintosh computers.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken English.
- Practical knowledge of principles of teamwork.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to sustain cooperative working relationships with physicians, research staff, and personnel in multiple departments.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of research ethics and responsible research conduct.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with interruptions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and follow through with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
- Demonstrated skill in working with disabled subjects.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in medical IRB forms and policies.
- Knowledge of standardized behavioral, mood and neurocognitive instruments for multiple sclerosis and cognitive decline.
