Staff Implementation Manager

Counterpart Health: Value-based care, at the point of care.
At Counterpart Health, we are transforming healthcare and improving patient care with our innovative primary care tool, Counterpart Assistant. By supporting Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), we are able to deliver improved outcomes for patients at a lower cost through early diagnosis and longitudinal care management of chronic conditions.
We are hiring a Staff Implementation Manager on the Counterpart Assistant team. You will be the critical team member in transitioning customers from prospects to live. From engaging prospective customers in the late stages of deals and helping shape the upcoming implementation through successfully launching new customers on CA. You will be the first individual in this role and help shape the way we approach future implementations.
In this role you will be accountable for successfully launching major new customers, and will work across the entire organization to ensure that success. Partnering with sales, customer success, product, engineering, SRE, data science and more you will optimize the product skill of high degrees of accountability and deliver success via influence. In this role you will develop the playbook (literally) for how we go end to end from prospect to live for our technology organization. The ideal candidate will be an expert in project management, have an understanding of clinical data management, strong technical expertise, and a passion for driving successful customer relationships.
As a Staff Implementation Manager, you will:
- Partner cross functionally with almost every function of the organization to support successful implementations.
- Build end to end project plans for complex, multistep projects with considerable cross company dependencies. Start, write, and iteratively improve an implementation playbook and process as we learn new challenges and patterns from new customers. You will be directly responsible for writing the content and developing the materials used both internally and externally for how we get from sales to live.
- Quantify the progress and quality of our implementations; if you can’t measure it, you can’t describe how you’ve moved it
- Be accountable to outcomes of the implementations, finding solutions to problems and enabling the success of the implementations
- Use your technical abilities to monitor and address data quality issues as they arise during implementations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data
Success in this role looks like:
- Over the first 90 days you’ll hit the ground running! We are actively involved in implementations and you’ll be able to shadow and join those implementations to learn the ropes. The goal of the first 90 days is to learn the different elements of the implementation process (customer data feed integrations, EHR integrations, internal system configurations) and build the playbook for the next waves of implementations.
- Within the first 6 months, success is measured by getting the cycle time and thrash from enterprise implementations down. Ideally by 6 months we’ve established a more standard process and SLAs for implementation steps based on the different stakeholder timelines, what is the timeline for Counterpart and what is the timeline for the customer.
- Over time, this individual's performance will be measured based on the consistency, speed, and on-target delivery of our customer implementations. The individual can take on each of the phases of the post-sales process to run consistently and on time, delighting customers in the process.
You should get in touch if:
- You have minimum of 10+ years experience working with technical product implementations
- You have a minimum of 3+ years experience working with healthcare technology implementations (experience with EHR and data feed integrations ideal)
- You have experience being part of an empowered product organization
- You are an expert with project management processes
