Meet the team:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Developer to join our growing team. This role requires a consistent record of leading small development teams, delivering high-quality software, and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in crafting our development processes, improving our codebase, and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
Where you'll come in:
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of developers, providing guidance, support, and code reviews. Ensure the team delivers high-quality, well-documented code that meets established standards.
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using either Python or JavaScript (experience with both is a plus). Strong focus on event-driven architectures is crucial.
- Team & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to define and implement coding standards, process efficiencies, and deployment processes. Champion initiatives to improve code quality, security posture, and overall development efficiency.
- CI/CD Implementation & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software releases.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience working with either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required. Give to the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
