The Role

As a Staff Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions supporting all of Magic’s products. You will also help expand Magic’s platform to meet global demand while maintaining resiliency and uptime. You will work with engineering teams to develop cloud native solutions that scale globally. Your extensive experience and technical expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our innovative product.

This position is fully remote, and we'd love to see applicants across the US and Canada, with a slight preference for hybrid NYC talent. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time, and applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US or Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will manage and expand our container orchestration platforms to support our customer platform in Kubernetes (EKS), ECS and Lambda.
• Design and build CI/CD pipelines with a promotion based model (GitHub Actions).
• Leverage your experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as CDK, Terraform, and Pulumi to manage infrastructure with CI/CD. 
• Architect and design with teams across the org to build robust and scalable API solutions in AWS that meet both current and future needs.
• Own the architecture and development of system components to improve monitoring, alerting and stability with compliance and security in mind (Datadog and Pagerduty).
