Job Summary

Comcast’s Frontline Experience Design Team is a collaborative, in-house design team, concepting and prototyping the best ideas and experiences into accessible designs for our employees. We transform customer service and sales through research, innovation, empathetic design, and operational efficiency. We work with Comcast customer service agents, retail store associates, and technicians to help them deliver best-in-class experiences. You live and breathe good design. The Sr. UX Designer will have a hands-on role in the design of our customer service, retail, and inbound sales experiences. You’ll help shape product benefits around user needs to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces with sales and customer satisfaction-driven results. As part of your day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with teams that include customer experience (CX), operational functions, product, engineering, sales, content strategy, and research. You’ll help drive the delivery of digital applications with outstanding user experience by applying elegant design solutions. Your passion for great user experience is contagious.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities 

  • Specializes in user experience design (UXD).  
  • Be a technical genius using Figma, including working with design system libraries, components and properties, design annotation, change tracking, file organization, branching, and other Figma functionality as required. 
  • Works independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating the ability to lead projects and initiatives autonomously.  
  • Executes UI designs as part of a multi-disciplinary team.  
  • Independently partners with Product and Engineering teams to design and prototype user interactions for web, mobile, and other digital delivery platforms.  
  • Designs the variations of new and existing user experiences in our product. 
  • Takes responsibility for the user interface: identify problems, propose solutions, recommend implementations, and execute UI solutions to improve the user experience.  
  • Has a broad experience and a deep understanding of customers to recommend UI features that solve customer needs.  
  • Delivers high-quality work on tight schedules in a dynamic, agile product environment.  
  • Produces interactive prototypes for internal experimentation and usability testing while making design decisions based on UX research. 
  • Supports, communicates, course-corrects, and revises throughout the development phase, partnering closely with the development team to ensure successful feature launches.  
  • Maintains a critical eye and an obsessive attention to detail.  
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 
  • Excels working in an ambiguous design environment.  
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $77,862.91 USD-$182,491.20 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
