A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Sr Test Operations Analyst role supports the Systems Integration & Test team by defining, tracking, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to tester efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. This position works closely with management to generate insights and weekly reports using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Power BI. Responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement and providing analytical support to help managers proactively address challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and establish KPIs and metrics for assessing tester productivity and effectiveness.
- Set up, maintain, and optimize dashboards in Jira and Confluence to track tester performance against established KPIs.
- Creates interactive dashboards and data reports following a disciplined development process.
- Regularly analyze data, produce weekly performance reports, and highlight trends or potential problem areas.
- Work with managers to interpret productivity data and develop action plans for addressing inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
- Trains cross-functional stakeholders on data use and access.
- Continuously refine metrics and reporting mechanisms to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance to organizational goals.
- Provide proactive insights and recommendations based on performance data.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Expertise with Jira, Confluence, MS Power BI and reporting tools to track and analyze productivity data.
- Experience creating interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- Proven capability to collaborate with technical and managerial teams to drive process improvements.
EXTRA AWESOME:
- B.S. in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as data and operations analyst in test operations, quality assurance, or a similar analytical role.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $95,800 - $125,000 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts.
