Meet the team:
Hardware Product Owners (HPO) are the linchpin of the hardware R&D organization and are accountable for the technical execution & success of Dexcom’s hardware products. The HPO will be responsible for setting technical direction for the products, leading the cross functional teams through all phases of product development, drive system level technical decisions, and spearhead risk identification & mitigation activities. This role will directly interface with senior management to ensure alignment with business and organizational needs.
Where you come in:
You will own end to end delivery of all aspects of hardware engineering to enable multiple new products and programs.
You will create strategic and tactical plans to achieve organizational goals; and lead a cross functional team through their day-to-day operations to achieve said goals.
You will provide ‘voice-of-function’ in cross-functional decision making
You will be accountable for the functional deliverables; works with extended teams to generate and review deliverables
You will maintain linkages to functional area to ensure application of best practices, policies, business processes, etc.
You will lead functional reviews and contribution to the end to end development program through coordination of the extended team(s)
Mediate technical discussions and decisions
