The Caption Health SBU focuses on clinical applications that aid in early disease detection, using AI to assist in conducting ultrasound scans. Caption Care is a turnkey, end-to-end echo program that leverages Caption AI technology platform to deliver convenient, cost-effective echocardiograms in any care setting to identify heart disease earlier—before undiagnosed issues become serious.

The Sr. SQA Automation Engineer at Caption Health plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to identify issues early in the development cycle, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define and implement best practices in testing. Responsibilities include performing SDK-related automation testing using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, such as pytest-bdd, and developing comprehensive API and UI-based automation tests to ensure robust and scalable software solutions.

The Sr. SQA Automation Engineer works across multiple platforms, including iOS and Android, to ensure a seamless user experience. Additionally, the role creates detailed automation test plans, generates reports that provide insights into testing progress and quality metrics, and meticulously reports defects to drive swift resolution. This role’s expertise is vital in contributing to the continuous improvement of our automation frameworks, driving innovation, and maintaining the high standards of our cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions.

  • Identify the scope of automation work by providing an initial estimate, justifying with facts.
  • Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle with ability to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various components of the software, ensuring early detection of defects.
  • Perform SDK-related automation testing using BDD frameworks such as pytest-bdd within PyCharm.
