Sr. Software Engineer

Purpose of the role: Perform Design, Development, Testing, Documentation in the areas of Development and Production Support and expansion of team knowledge.

Accountabilities
- A focus on business solution alignment, from requirements analysis, architecting technical solution designs, development of technical objects, testing and system deployments
- Collaborates with Functional/Business Analysts to ensure that requirements, design, testing and production processes are understood
- Creation and maintenance of accurate, unambiguous techno-functional design specifications to the required level of detail according to schedule as defined by the Development Manager
- Conducts code reviews and knowledge sharing opportunities for the team and ensures deliverables meets standards and best practices as defined by the Development Manager
- Documents technical and installation documentation for production migrations
- Achievement of agreed productivity targets to ensure developments are delivered within budget, to schedule and to defined quality standards
- Produces estimates of work effort for defined scope of work and articulates identified planning risks and potential mitigations
- Timely and accurate reporting of project status on weekly cadence or as per project needs
- Partners with IT disciplines to architect desired and innovative solutions, troubleshoot issues and deliver IT services
- Articulates clear and concise translations of technical analysis and priority to business and technical organizations in an evolving environment

Academic and professional qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in computer science, management information systems, human resources or related field
- Minimum of two years of full life-cycle Oracle HCM cloud implementation experience, with a strong preference of hands-on experience in one or more of the HCM modules: Global HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Performance Management, Workforce Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management, Help Desk
- Proven 5+ years software development lifecycle experience and recommending coding standards

Desired Experience
- 2+ years development in Oracle HCM Cloud technologies and OCI / Oracle PaaS Development Services (JCS, OIC, ODI), Web Services/Java API's, AutoSys job orchestrations
- Oracle Cloud experience in many/any of the following technologies: Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator, HCM Extract, HDL Loader, BI âŚ
