Key Responsibilities

Ameriprise Financial, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer, in Minneapolis, MN, to design, develop, and maintain applications following Enterprise-level architectural patterns. Architect, design, and develop REST APIs to expose data in non-relational and relational data stores. Develop and maintain statistical model algorithms based on business logic. 100% remote work permitted from anywhere within the U.S. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 7 years experience coding and/or designing in multiple programming languages, in multiple environments, including Python, Jenkins, MySQL, MongoDB, Apache, and AWS services (S3, Glue, EC2, EKS, Athena, and Lambda.) 7 years of experience in the design and build of complex software applications, including C#, Python, R, UI frameworks (RShiny and RShiny Express), and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, and Node.js.) Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $141,898 - $173,500 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
