Position Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP FICO professional to become a key team member of J. J. Keller's SAP team. Our SAP footprint continues to grow with on-going enhancements and large projects to support new products and service offerings in S/4HAHA. The purpose of this position is to work with the business users and SAP project team to translate business requirements into technical requirements, analyze, design, configure, document and program key technical functions in SAP. Work primarily involves large projects and/or those of higher complexity, with on-going support, enhancements and new implementations. This role will also provide technical project leadership as assigned.

 

This role can work onsite at our Neenah, WI headquarters, Hybrid or 100% Remote within the US; in fact, over 80% of our associates work remote. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Partners with business areas to create requirements to resolve business application needs and problems. 
  • Performs analysis and design based on business requirements. 
  • Produces technical design requirements and documentation and accurate development estimates. 
  • Performs configuration of systems as defined by business requirements and technical specifications. 
  • Performs master data preparation, cleansing, migration and support. 
  • Performs code development for the SAP systems. 
  • Promotes strong quality practices by performing unit testing and providing appropriate level of support for user acceptance testing, as needed. 
  • Serves as a resource to the Business Analyst and Project Lead for providing technical leadership on projects. 
  • Identifies and recommends alternatives for changing business needs, opportunities and process improvements.  
  • Communicates with outside resources and vendors on new initiatives and technologies. 
  • Shares knowledge of critical business processes and systems as well as knowledge of newer technologies with others. 
  • Works with other areas of IT to resolve operating system, network, integration and data issues. 
  • Focuses primarily on highly complex code development and projects of larger scope. 
  • Trains and mentors other team members on SAP development and/or configuration techniques. 

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 6+ years experience in design, development, configuration, implementation and support of SAP systems.
  • 3+ years experience in ABAP Programming with BAPI, BADI, User Exits, etc. and ABAP debugging experience. 
  • Must have both Technical and Functional experience, specifically in FICO.
  • Proven experience proposing and justifying technical solutions and SAP best practices. 
  • Ability to design, develop, configure, and implement a wide variety of S/4HANA modules and functions preferably in the areas of FI-AP, FI-AR, RAR, FI-CO, FSCM, CO-PA

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business or technology related field.

Other Requirements:

  • Vertex, Concur and Ariba integrations would be beneficial
  • Ability to design and develop applications which integrate with other systems, platforms, and external services.
  • Technical knowledge of critical business processes and systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in services oriented architecture a plus.
  • Creative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead large development projects utilizing project management methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical users. 
  • Have an open mind to learning.
  • Flexible in the tasks that have been assigned and to be able to prioritize accordingly.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply):  Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $118,625.00 to $139,560.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California.
