Sr. Salesforce Developer

Vimeo seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to power our CRM infrastructure. You will be a driving force behind our CRM platform, designing and implementing transformative solutions that empower our business teams. You'll not only be a technical expert but also a coach and mentor, fostering best practices and driving innovation across the team. Responsibilities:

  • Architect & Design Solutions: Own functional and technical solution architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Collaborate with business owners to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined workflows within Salesforce.
  • Lead Salesforce Administration: Work within the team to design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex code, Lightning components, workflows, and integrations.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce best practices, providing guidance and mentorship to the team.
  • Manage CRM Infrastructure: Maintain and optimize the Salesforce platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with sales, marketing, support, and product teams to understand their needs and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously research and evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies to enhance our platform.
  • Training and Documentation: Create and deliver training materials and documentation for Salesforce users.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer/Administrator, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices.
  • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, and integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • A passion for Salesforce and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
  • Experience with process re-engineering.

Bonus Points:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, etc.) are highly preferred.
  • Experience implementing a CPQ preferred. 

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $123,000 - $169,500
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas: $110,700 - $152,550
