What you will be doing in the role of a Sr. Salesforce Architect
Susan G. Komen is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Architect who is passionate about building and maintaining highly scalable enterprise level Salesforce applications and integrations. As a Sr. Salesforce Architect, you are aware of all aspects of the Salesforce.com and the Force.com platform. You will develop quality integration and technical architecture solutions leveraging the Salesforce technology ecosystem.
What you will bring to the table
- Work closely with Komen’s Mission stakeholders, and various technology teams (Development, Infrastructure, Product Managers, etc.) to define and implement elegant, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions using Salesforce technologies.
- Work to ensure that the SDFC configuration supports business requirements. As required, manage SDFC enhancement projects to support business needs.
- Manage all operations of Salesforce Health Cloud. Serve as a point of contact for Mission and Mission Technology to provide oversight, maintenance, configuration, reporting, and training.
- Design and implement technical solutions to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Own and manage the full spectrum of the Salesforce permission model including org-wide defaults, internal and external access, sharing settings, users, roles, profiles, permissions, and groups.
- Define and enforce a development lifecycle leveraging sandboxes and release management technologies.
- Project manage work and share status on a weekly basis with stakeholders.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available from third parties on the Salesforce AppExchange
- Create and enable best practices, governance measures, and patterns for custom and configured solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Seek out ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity.
- Oversee all integrations with other Salesforce orgs and external systems.
- Mentor other Salesforce resources, including work of external development teams.
- Responsible for managing the Sr. Salesforce Administrator for Health Cloud.

We know you will have and be able to
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with 10+ in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to facilitate a team to consensus on the scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
- Ability to document requirements formally or informally depending on the need of the project.
- Accountable to manage work progress to meet deadlines, review system requirements and architecture to anticipate problems that may impede work. Expected to communicate changes and progress to the stakeholders and the team.
- Salesforce Certifications of Application Architect and/or System Architect.
- Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I required.
- Experience managing offshore development teams.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors as a technology lead.
- Experience serving in a leadership role within an agile development environment.
- Experience developing and maintaining integrations between Salesforces orgs.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.
We would love if you also have
- Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Sharing and Visibility Architect, and Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect
- Strong experience with Full Salesforce development life cycle - admin, configure, develop including object/field customization, deploy/test in sandbox, deploy/verify in production, sandbox management.
- Strong working knowledge of Health Cloud.
- 4+ Years of hands-on experience with Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- 10+ Years experience using Flosum or other deployment tools.
- 10+ Years experience with data loading and data extraction using both Salesforce and non-Salesforce ETL tools.
- Creative thinker with a vision.

- Competitive salary $102,000 to $145,000/annually, exact compensation ranges are based on a range of factors including but not limited to the labor market, job level, internal equity, and budget. Offers given will take into consideration the candidate's skills, education, experience, geographic location, and other necessary credentials.
