We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for our global regulatory services team with experience in regulatory work to join our team and lead critical Phase II projects and submissions to the European Commission (EC), German and French authorities. 

The position is responsible for the overall client experience which includes effectively managing the schedule, scope and cost of a project while maintaining a high level of quality and achieving client goals and project success. 

As a Senior Project Manager specializing in regulatory work, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and submissions. Your role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and client objectives. You will be the key liaison between clients, internal teams, and regulatory bodies, ensuring successful project outcomes and adherence to industry best practices.

Responsibilities 

Regulatory Project Management: 

  • Primarily lead and manage Phase II projects with a focus on regulatory compliance, including submissions to the European Commission (EC). Additonally, manage matters pertaining to German and French authorities.  
  • Develop and execute project plans that adhere to regulatory requirements and client expectations. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory documentation and respond to regulatory inquiries as needed. 
  • Knowing and understanding requirements for European regulatory agencies 

Client and Stakeholder Management: 

  • Consult with clients to understand regulatory requirements and project objectives. 
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory best practices and workflows. 
  • Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. 

Internal Coordination: 

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards. 
  • Coordinate with Corporate Business Systems and other departments to integrate regulatory requirements into project planning and execution. 

Progress Tracking and Reporting: 

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards. 
  • Provide detailed status updates and reports to clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Address and resolve any issues or obstacles related to regulatory compliance. 
  • Detailed tracking of all data processes from collection to production with thorough and complete reconciliation per company SOP to ensure all data is appropriately accounted for.  

Documentation and Process Improvement: 

  • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation. 
  • Ensure internal documentation is updated as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements.   
  • Implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry trends. 

Communication and Leadership: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory-related inquiries and needs. 
  • Proactively communicate project requirements and progress clearly and concisely to all relevant parties. 
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure successful project delivery 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, consulting, litigation support or paralegal experience in a top-tier law firm, consulting practice, or vendor with a focus on regulatory work, particularly in Phase II projects and submissions to European regulators. 
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, including European Commission requirements and processes. 
  • Proven track record in managing multiple simultaneous regulatory projects with successful outcomes. 
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel, Word, and Power Point 
  • Candidate must have a deep understanding of eDiscovery and the litigation support industry 
  • Demonstrated success in the management of multiple simultaneous projects. 
  • Excellent client relationship skills which include the ability to proactively manage client expectations, recognize client needs and adapt company capabilities to consistently meet client requirements 
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and organization skills 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in Germany and/ or French would be advantageous. 
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team 
  • A solid understanding of database design and management, data processing activities and legal document review requirements

Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is 80,000 to 90,000 EUR.
