Our Team is looking for Sr. Proposals Manager to join our dynamic team.
Leads and manages the overall development process of formal responses such as RFPs, proactive proposals, detailed proposal-related questionnaires, collaboration, and production of the response by the time frame set out/customer due date.
•Leads cross-functional teams of Subject Matter Experts to address customer questions within the requested deadline.
•Oversees/produces cover letters and executive summaries in a persuasive, technically relevant manner.
•Maintains, updates, and adds to proposals self-help resources including managing content updates, identifying and making available additional content, removing content.
•Can research and describe products and specifications across business unit offerings.
•Develops a solid understanding of our product and services portfolio.
•As a strong team player, will actively support colleagues where necessary to ensure the targets set across the team are met.
Responsibilities:
•Manages the Proposal process, ensuring deadlines are met as needed, including setting up bid/no bid calls, action tracker and status/review calls
• Analyzes product and service prerequisites and identifies response requirements. Answers customers' technical questions, independently researching and developing technical input.
• Identifies any key risks and requirements in the Customers ask that deviate from the corporate standard and engages with the necessary stakeholders to ensure the appropriate response is made.
•Serves as cross-functional team leader to drive consistently successful proposals with an average value of greater than $1MM USD. Manages input from team members to ensure compliance with customer criteria.
• Oversees/Produces cover letters on behalf of senior leadership or business leaders, crafts executive summaries, and other customer-facing documents to persuade customers to review documents enthusiastically and ultimately choose our solutions. Weaves win themes throughout proposal response.
•Ensures commercial approval processes are followed in line with our ISO standards.
•Collates the inputs and ensures the final document reads/flows well, formatted and in line with corporate branding/style.
•Responsible for all content in each project; ensures content used is stored and updated in the database so that other team members can share the valuable information, increasing win rates for the company.
•Publicizes and maintains the proposals submission process, working with direct management to make choices on workload, whether submitted proposal requests meet minimum criteria to be run by the proposals team, and actively reporting on in-process and recently submitted proposals.
•Makes changes, as needed, to ISO process for managing proposals from start-to-finish as company policy and procedure changes, organization changes occur, approval requirements change, or other factors introduce differences into the existing process.
Required Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years working with different product lines within the organization or industry. Intermediate product knowledge on the product portfolio, can make recommendations for customer requirements. Can research and write about technical compliances and specifications.
•Experience working with customer requirements and expectations. Understands what drives customers decisions. Detail oriented – ensures full compliance of documents.
•Can write persuasively, including generation of cover letters and executive summaries.
•Strong writing skills, precise descriptions targeted to specific audience, and ability to distill complex technical input into relatable narrative with corresponding graphics to help promote emerging concepts.
•Uses knowledge on the organizational polices, practices and trends to drive business.
•Intermediate project leadership. Drives others outside of direct control to respond with key content, on time, that meets customer and internal requirements.
•Understands interpersonal and group dynamics and reacts in an effective manner. Solicits input from others and listens with empathy and concern.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Structures and solves relatively non-complex problems utilizing existing tools, triage and escalation. Requires limited guidance to solve problems. Addresses issues quickly to keep projects on schedule.
•High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
•Moderate proficiency in MS SharePoint and MS Teams.
•Experience with Monday.com and AI/LLM chatbots for content generation.
•Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing multiple projects/demands and working with minimal supervision.
BS in communications, business, or a related field, or significant industry experience (minimum of 5 years)

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $118,000.00-$160,000.00.
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
