Are you a detail-oriented tax professional with expertise in property tax compliance? Join Lithia & Driveway as a Senior Tax Accountant, Property Tax, where you'll play a key role in managing property tax compliance, accounting functions, and tax-related research.
What You’ll Do:
- Participate in the monthly accounting close process, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly data files for our co-sourced tax compliance provider.
- Review and prepare property tax returns while resolving government notices.
- Conduct tax-related research and assist with government audits.
- Serve as a principal contact on projects involving government officials, outside counsel, and business partners.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Staff Accountants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a subject-matter expert on tax-related initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- CPA or candidate eligible for the CPA exam desired
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in property tax required.
