Due to growth, we are adding a Sr. Project Manager, EPMO to our EPMO department.
The Sr. Project Manager, EPMO reports to the Manager, EPMO Operations and is responsible for collaborating across the organization to plan, develop and execute large, simultaneous complex projects in response to priorities set by portfolio governance oversight bodies including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). The Sr. Project Manager, EPMO proactively identifies risks to the overall plan as it relates to scope, timeline, and budget and facilitates the project change request process providing comprehensive analysis as a result of thorough fact finding and solution evaluation. This position begins project work prior to initiation, working with leadership to develop business case and cost benefits analysis, facilitating approval through Navitus EPMO governance oversight. The Sr. Project Manager, EPMO leverages industry best practices, business acumen, and experience to ensure successful and timely delivery of high-quality projects with return on stated benefits.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
- Document and manage activities, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and risk mitigation plans in order to complete projects on time, within scope and authorized budgets
- Prepare project schedules, including identification of major milestones, for overseeing, controlling, communicating, and managing all activities required to complete project
- Establish and maintain budget; provide validation, tracking and documentation for all related spend with proper approvals. Maintain accurate forecast and provide analysis reporting on project spend. Evaluate and analyze budget to actual to forecast; work with leadership to facilitate spend-specific decisions
- Document all key decisions. Analyze project decisions for impact across the enterprise portfolio; work collaboratively to resolve conflicts and ensure communication across the appropriate channels and stakeholders
- Conduct project communication planning, facilitate project teams, and provide oversight team, stakeholder, and sponsor updates
- Serve as main contact for external project partners or vendors. Understand full scope of work and related costs; manage to contract. Set and monitor quality expectations for partner/vendor deliverables
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What our team expects from you?
- Bachelor’s Degree or seven (7) years healthcare-related experience required
- Certification in project methodology or Agile certification (i.e. Six Sigma, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CAPM, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP) or ability to become certified within one year of hire
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in enterprise projects from initiation to implementation that include IT and data elements if project management certified or seven (7) years if not project management certified
- Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Core software applications, including Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
- Project tracking tools (MS Project, ADO, PPM Pro, Smartsheets)
- Minimum 3 years healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry practices and HIPAA knowledge
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
