Sr. Product Designer I (Remote Eligible)

As a member of the Experience Design team, you will shape the future of work, making our category-leading work execution platform valuable, elegant, and engaging. As a Senior Product Designer I, you will apply principles of design thinking to conceptualize and create engaging, valuable, and intuitive user experiences for our web and mobile apps. You will represent the end-user and promote human-centered methodologies across the product team to ensure new designs that meet people’s needs from first-time users to seasoned experts.
You will report into a Sr. Manager, Product Design, and can be based in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

What You'll Do:
- Create visually stunning and engaging experiences that make emotional connections with users, solve problems and communicate our brand
- Partner with product to dig into user needs and goals and shape experiences to support them
- Create task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other interaction design deliverables to demonstrate customer value and drive alignment across teams
- Partner with research to drive customer studies where needed
- Craft decks to share out work early and often with key stakeholders
- Provide assets, specifications, and guidance for implementation of the user experience throughout the entire development process.
- Work with the Design System team to leverage existing components or work with them to define new ones
- Partner with designers in other areas to drive end to end cohesion
- Drive alignment of customer needs and value with product and engineering partners across the organization
- Support other duties as needed
