PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $125,700.00-$153,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $97,400.00 - $181,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

 IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As the Sr Organizational Change Manager, you will develop and implement change strategies that support employees in adopting new behaviors, processes, systems and initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate smooth transitions, ensuring successful implementation and engagement. Your expertise will help teams navigate change effectively, contributing to the long-term success of BECU.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Define Change Strategy:  Ensure a seamless transition by understanding change, assessing change readiness and impact, developing communication plans, and reinforcing change initiatives.
  • Lead Change Implementation:  Design and execute tailored change management strategies for strategic projects and programs, providing regular updates on progress and impact.
  • Engage Sponsors:  Guide and support sponsors in advocating for change, ensuring leadership buy-in and active ownership of key initiatives.
  • Assess Organizational Impact:  Conduct, analyze, and report on stakeholder impact assessments to develop informed and effective change strategies.
  • Strengthen Change Capabilities:  Partner with leaders to cultivate a resilient and adaptable workforce by enhancing change management skills across the organization.
  • Ensure Consistency in Change Methodologies:  Collaborate with BECU’s change management professionals to align strategies, ensuring organization-wide cohesion in practices and implementation.
  • Develop Clear & Engaging Communications:  Craft compelling, professional messaging to communicate complex change initiatives to a broad audience, ensuring clarity and engagement.
  • Refine Messaging for Maximum Impact:  Review and enhance communications to ensure effectiveness and engagement at all levels.
  • Create Executive-Level Presentations:  Develop high-quality presentations for leadership updates, and engagements that inspire action and understanding.
  • Measure Success:  Track and report on the effectiveness of change efforts, using data to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage Digital Change Resources:  Maintain and enhance SharePoint sites, ensuring employees have easy access to change management resources and tools.
  • Incorporate Iterative Practices:  Leverage agile methodologies to drive dynamic, iterative change processes that support BECU’s evolving needs.
  • Contribute Beyond Expectations:  Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 
  • Typically requires seven or more years of experience in organizational change management or a related field. 
  • Experience designing and implementing change management strategies to drive successful adoption for large, complex organization-wide initiatives.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field. 
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP). 
  • Experience developing and facilitating training programs. 
  • Experience managing SharePoint sites and Teams channels. 
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems while adapting to evolving business needs. 
  • Ability to develop clear and concise written and verbal communications for a variety of stakeholders. 
  • Experience providing guidance and feedback to teams and stakeholders to support organizational success. 
  • Experience creating professional business communications, presentations, and reports. 
  • Proficiency in business software tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms.
