Sr. Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

The territory covers North Texas and Oklahoma.

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. This is a field-based position for the Oncology Therapeutic Area Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) group within the Scientific Affairs organization.

In this vital role, you will interact with Oncology Healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen's organizational goals and objectives. The MSL is in an integral position to ensure accurate, clear, and valued information regarding our scientific platform is communicated to multiple levels within the medical community. The successful MSL will communicate complex, cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision-makers, including but not limited to those at academic medical centers. The role may also include clinical and pharmacoeconomic value discussions with payers and formulary decision-makers. The Sr. MSL will also support the training of members of Amgen's speakers’ bureau to ensure they are updated on new data. In addition, the MSL will provide insights based on field interactions and scientific support consistent with Amgen’s organizational goals and objectives.

The MSL will interact with HCP thought leaders to communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s organizational goals and objectives:

  • Communicate complex cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision-makers, including but not limited to those at Academic Medical Centers
  • Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision-makers
  • Identify and train members of Amgen’s speakers’ bureau …
